What benefits will I gain from career coaching or intercultural consulting with Next Land Consulting (NLC)?
Through your individual or group sessions with NLC, you will be able to create your own career map, bridging the gap between where you are in your career and where you would like to be. Your coach at NLC will help you build your own personalized strategy to advance your career. Whether you are taking on a new role, changing careers or switching industries, you will be able create a blueprint of your career advancement.

If you are relocating, NLC will provide you with tools to help you overcome your cultural adjustment faster and be operational in your new position/mission/project faster.

As an international student, you will benefit from coaching sessions to help you position yourself for an effective recruiting and career strategy, while adjusting to the new culture.

Does NLC offer services to businesses?
Yes, NLC offers packages to companies that generally work internationally and send their employees overseas to take on projects, or from overseas to the U.S. NLC will work with those employees prior to their relocation overseas and after relocation. The employees will have a coach/consultant assigned to them as they relocate.

Through Organizational Development (OD) approaches, NLC will also help businesses in their strategies to find solutions for their employee development and retention processes.

Where do coaching sessions take place?
Sessions are offered over the phone, via Skype and other web-based platforms, and face to face depending on the client’s preference and type of coaching.

How long is a contract with NLC?
The contract length varies depending on the needs of the client. Contracts generally last from 6 months to 1 year or more. The client will meet with their assigned coach once or twice a month, or more if needed.

How can I know that coaching will help me?
You won’t know until you try. Through a complimentary session offered by NLC, you’ll have the opportunity to assess if coaching and your coach are a good fit for you. The coach will also help you understand what to expect and answer any questions you might have. Please note that you must be willing to enter a coaching program and stay accountable for agreed upon action plans with your coach.

When do I start working with NLC?
